..and it's going to be quicker than I had planned because just as I started typing, I heard P starting to stir. Oh well!
Life is wonderful...busy and hectic and tiring...but each day that I have with my girl makes me count my blessings over and over again. She is doing good and is growing so much! It's hard to believe that she's already 7 weeks old...and other days it feels like I've always had her.
She weighs 8 lbs. 8oz. now and is still BFing exclusively, though not without some challenges. One of these days when I don't spend all day feeding my ravenous little munchkin, I hope to write about it. One day, but obviously not today. :)
Her reflux is some better now, thanks to some new meds and some other changes and her other GI issues are beginning to right themselves. She actually pooped without any assistance on Friday for the first time in a month. Let me tell you, we did a happy dance!! Pooping Preslie is way, way happier than the non-pooping kind. :)
She still doesn't sleep, so that means that I still don't sleep...but that's a story for another day. What day? I don't know...whatever day she naps for more than a few minutes at a time, when my laundry is done and I've had a shower. Hahaha...that is currently the impossible dream!
And there goes the warning bell! Screams will follow if I don't get to my girl quickly, so I'm outta here! Later!

Yay for exclusive BFing!! I'm jealous. We are supplementing with formula through a syringe and tube for now, but hoping when the supply comes in things will get better. Little Dude has a small mouth apparently so we're battling some wicked latch issues too. But after a home visit from a lactation consultant we're more confident we can overcome the issues. I'm so glad Miss P is back to pooping and I CANNOT believe she's 7 weeks either!! Time is flying. Also so glad the meds are helping with her reflux. Keep up the great job Mama!! :)

So glad Preslies poopin girl! Good shes better now. How amazing its 7 weeks already, I can't even imagine. Been thinking of you just been a bad blogger and reader lately. xoxo
